OFFICIAL TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR KALYUG NEWS TEAM

Effective Date: February 23, 2026

MANDATORY DAILY NOTICE

The Management reserves the absolute right to amend, modify, or update these Terms & Conditions at any time and on any given day without prior notice. As an official Journalist/Employee/Stringer, it is your strict responsibility to review this page daily. Your continued association with Kalyug News Network signifies your 100% acceptance of the currently active rules. Ignorance of updated policies will not be accepted as an excuse under any circumstances.

Welcome to the Kalyug News Network Reporting Team. This binding legal agreement ("Agreement") applies to all Journalists, Reporters, Stringers, Editors, Cameramen, and verified contributors (collectively referred to as "You" or "Team Member") working under the banner of Kalyug News Network ("Company", "We"). By holding our Press ID, using our Mic ID, or submitting news, you are legally bound by these strict corporate terms.

1. Press ID, Mic & Equipment Usage

The Press ID Card, Mic Logo, Authorization Letter, and any physical equipment provided to you remain the exclusive property of Kalyug News Network.

  • No Personal Abuse: The Press ID must be used strictly for journalistic coverage. Using it to intimidate law enforcement, evade toll taxes, or for any personal/commercial gain is a severe criminal offense.
  • Return on Termination: Upon resignation, suspension, or termination, you must return the Press ID and Mic within 24 hours. Failure to do so will result in an immediate FIR (First Information Report) for 'Impersonation' (Fake Journalist) filed against you.
  • Equipment Liability: You are fully responsible for the maintenance and safety of any reporting gear provided to you by the Company.

2. Anti-Plagiarism & AdSense Compliance

Kalyug News Network strictly enforces international copyright laws and Google AdSense Publisher Policies.

  • 100% Original Content: You are strictly prohibited from copying, scraping, or pasting news articles, scripts, or content from other news websites, newspapers, or social media pages.
  • Copyrighted Media: Using images, audio, or video footage containing the logo or watermark of a rival news channel or copyrighted source is strictly forbidden.
  • Financial Penalty for Strikes: If your plagiarized or copyrighted submission results in a Google AdSense strike, account suspension, or legal copyright notice against the Company, a heavy financial lawsuit will be filed against you to recover the damages.

3. Code of Editorial Conduct & Media Ethics

Kalyug News operates on a "Zero Tolerance" policy regarding journalistic ethics, adhering to the guidelines set by the Press Council of India.

  • No Fake News & Clickbait: Every piece of news, video, and information you submit must be 100% factual and verified. Creating sensational, false, or clickbait headlines is prohibited.
  • No Extortion or Blackmail: Threatening any government official, politician, or private citizen with "publishing or withholding news" in exchange for money (Bribery/Extortion) is a grave criminal act. Upon receiving evidence of such behavior, the Company will terminate you instantly and assist law enforcement in your prosecution.
  • No Conflict of Interest: While associated with Kalyug News Network, you are prohibited from working for, reporting for, or supplying exclusive news to any rival news agency without prior written consent.

4. Confidentiality & Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)

As a team member, you may have access to unreleased news, company strategies, internal contacts, source identities, and backend login portals.

  • You shall not leak, share, or sell any internal company data, exclusive unreleased news, or management communications to any third party, rival channel, or unauthorized WhatsApp groups. This constitutes a severe breach of our Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).

5. Personal Social Media Conduct

  • As a representative of Kalyug News Network, your public image reflects our brand. You shall not post inflammatory, highly partisan, illegal, or abusive content on your personal Facebook, X (Twitter), Instagram, or YouTube accounts that could bring disrepute to the Company's brand image.

6. Copyright & Absolute Content Ownership

All news reports, videos, photographs, and exclusive interviews gathered by you using the Kalyug News Network name, mic, or equipment become the absolute intellectual property of the Company.

  • Total Exclusivity: You are strictly prohibited from uploading, selling, or distributing any exclusive news or footage created for Kalyug News Network on your personal YouTube channel, blog, or any rival media platform.

8. Employment Status, Payments & Taxes

Unless you possess a signed "Full-Time Employment Contract" with a defined salary structure, your legal status is that of an Independent Contractor (Stringer / Freelancer).

  • Payments will be processed strictly based on approved, published news pieces or agreed-upon commission structures.
  • All payments are subject to mandatory Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) and other deductions as per Government of India laws.
  • The Company does not guarantee Employee Provident Fund (EPF), ESI, or any other regular employee benefits to independent stringers.

9. Health, Safety & Field Risks

  • Reporting from the field (accidents, riots, disaster zones) involves inherent risks. As an independent contractor, you acknowledge that you undertake field reporting at your own personal risk. The Company shall not be held financially or legally liable for any physical injury, accident, or loss of personal property occurring during the course of news gathering.

10. Immediate Termination Clause

The Management reserves the absolute right to suspend or terminate your Authorization ID and portal access immediately, without prior notice, for any of the following reasons:

  • Insubordination, blackmailing, or directly disobeying the Chief Editor's guidelines.
  • Bringing disrepute to the brand name of Kalyug News Network.
  • Inactivity or failing to provide quality news for a continuous period of 30 days.
