INTERNAL GUIDELINES FOR KALYUG NEWS TEAM

Effective Date: February 23, 2026

1. No Fixed Salary & Bonus Policy

Currently, Kalyug News Network DOES NOT provide any fixed monthly salary to any reporter, journalist, or stringer. We operate on a reward-based model. If a reporter provides an exclusive, high-impact, or viral news story, the Management/HR Team will evaluate the work and may provide a "Performance Bonus". The decision of who gets the bonus and what the amount will be, rests entirely with the Management.

2. Warning for Trainees & Learners

We welcome individuals who have joined our network to learn journalism. However, submitting irrelevant, useless (faltu), or fake news is strictly prohibited. Furthermore, copying news, articles, or videos from other websites/channels (Copyright Violation) is a serious offense. If any trainee is found copy-pasting news or filling the portal with garbage content, their ID will be permanently blocked without warning.

3. What Professional Data We Collect

To establish a legal working relationship and issue official Press Credentials, we collect the following basic operational information (No Bank or GPS details required):

  • Professional Profile: Full name, passport-size photographs, residential address, and past journalism experience (if any).
  • Contact Information: Valid mobile number (WhatsApp) and email address for official communication.
  • Digital Footprint & Device Data: We securely log IP addresses, browser types, and login timestamps whenever you access our internal portal. This is mandatory to prevent unauthorized logins and secure the website from hackers.

4. Source Protection & Verification Policy

We respect the journalistic right to protect anonymous sources. However, the Management reserves the absolute right to internally verify the identity of your "anonymous source" if a specific news report invites a Defamation Suit or a Police Inquiry against Kalyug News Network. Your sources will be kept strictly confidential by the Management unless mandated by a Court of Law.

5. Public Byline Exemption (सार्वजनिक पहचान)

As a journalist, your work is a matter of public record. By submitting news, articles, or videos to Kalyug News Network, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Your Full Name, Profile Photo, and Designation will be publicly displayed on the website as the "Author" or "Byline" of the article.
  • You cannot invoke privacy rights to hide your identity on news reports you have officially filed for the Company. Transparency is the core of journalism.

6. Official Communication Monitoring

All official communications, including emails sent to the Management and chats on the official "Team Manager WhatsApp Desk", are monitored and securely archived. This data is retained to resolve any internal editorial disputes or disciplinary issues.

7. Data Sharing & Law Enforcement

8. Data Retention After Termination

If you resign, abscond, or are terminated from Kalyug News Network due to misconduct, your profile on the website will be deactivated. However, we will NOT permanently delete your operational records immediately.

  • Your work history and digital footprints will be securely retained in our offline legal archives to protect the Company against future legal disputes or impersonation cases.
  • A record of your termination reason will be kept permanently to ensure you are not rehired or issued a fake ID in the future.
